Negin Tagavi is a trained diplomat and lawyer and has served at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs for seven years. She has i.a. been engaged in conflict issues in Iraq and been posted to the Swedish Embassy in Baghdad during 2011- 2013. She has also served at the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the UN in New York. Before joining Fryshuset and PDI, Negin worked at the department for Human Rights and Public International Law at the Foreign Affairs ministry in Stockholm. After her studies, Negin practised law at a corporate law firm for two years where she focused on M&A, competition law and intellectual property law.
Negin has a Master of Laws (LLM) from Stockholm University. Further she has studied politics, human rights and Spanish in Santiago, Chile, at Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano and Arabic in Cairo, Egypt. Negin was also one of the selected “Supertalents” choosen by Veckans Affärer 2012.
