Edward Vallingstam

Program Development Assistant

Edward is a Master's student in Psychology of Religion at Uppsala University. In his thesis, he has focused on minority groups, identity, and coping. He also has a BA in Media and Communication Studies from Stockholm University and has previously worked with radio production and web communications. Edward is currently working with refugees in the asylum process at the Uppsala City Mission. The role includes motivational interviewing, restorative justice, and standard critical sex education for unaccompanied refugee youths, as well as the role of developer and facilitator of workshops on Swedish context for adult asylum seekers.

At PDI, Edward assists in the development of a Swedish IC Thinking programme.
